Spirax-Sarco chairman Bill Whiteley to retire in May

Spirax-Sarco Engineering said chairman Bill Whiteley would be retiring on May 15 after nine years in the post.

Senior independent director Jamie Pike, who joined the company's board in 2014, would take over as chairman at the close of the annual general meeting on that date, the company said in a statement.

Clive Watson would also be appointed as a new senior independent director, it added.
