Ted Baker in line to meet full year targets as Q1 sales up 12%

First quarter retail sales at Ted Baker increased 12.7% as the retailer said it expected full year results to meet expectations.

Online sales soared 32.3%, reflecting continued growth across the group's websites.

“This good performance was achieved in the context of challenging external trading conditions, and is a reflection of the strength of the brand and the group's business model,” the company said.

“Our international expansion has continued with successful store openings in Beijing, Ottawa and Seattle, and further concession openings in premium department stores in China, France, Germany, Japan and Spain.”
