UDG Healthcare chairman to exit in September

UDG Healthcare on Tuesday said that non-executive chair Peter Gray has informed the board that he intends to step down in September next year.

Gray has been with the healthcare services provider for 15 years and served as chair since 2012.

UDG also said that non-executive directors Chris Corbin and Chris Brinsmead will retire following the company's annual general meeting on 28 January, with Peter Chambré and Shane Cooke already in line to succeed the duo.

The FTSE 250 company said Nancy Miller-Rich will not to seek re-election as an independent non-executive director at the upcoming annual meeting, with a search for a replacement having already commenced.

"I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to Chris Corbin, Chris Brinsmead and Nancy Miller-Rich for their significant contribution to UDG Healthcare during their tenure and I wish them well in their future endeavours," said Gray.

UDG Healthcare shares were down by 2.13% at 782.00p at 0823 GMT.
