Weir Group appoints David Paradis head of Weir Flow Control

Engineering firm Weir Group has appointed David Paradis as division president of Weir Flow Control, a manufacturer of valves and pumps for the oil and gas industry, effective from 23 January.

Paradis, who is currently president of the company's pressure pumping business, succeeds John Heasley who was appointed chief financial officer of Weir Group in October 2016.

He joined the FTSE 250 company in 2012 and previously he spent 22 years working in the flow control industry, including 14 years with Tyco Flow Control.
