Zoo Digital inks deal with 'major' Hollywood studio
Updated : 12:18
Localisation and media service technology provider Zoo Digital announced on Tuesday that it would now serve as a key vendor for a “major” Hollywood content producer to support its content localisation needs.
The AIM-traded company said the new client would also use its ‘ZOOstudio’ product to manage the localisation of content across its vendors.
It said the adoption of ZOOstudio by another global content creator was a significant success for the company.
While long-term contractual arrangements were yet to be finalised, a significant number of revenue-generating projects for the client were already underway.
Zoo Digital added that the client's identity could not be disclosed due to contractual restrictions.
“We are delighted to be chosen to provide our services and technology to another high-profile streaming service,” said chief executive officer Stuart Green.
“Our global Zoo teams recognise the challenges of localising premium content for worldwide audiences, and we're thrilled to be able to support our client with these.”
At 1218 GMT, shares in Zoo Digital Group were up 13.5% at 186.15p.
