FTSE 100 movers: DS Smith recovers; Vodafone in the red

London’s FTSE 100 was up 0.1% at 7,519.51 in afternoon trade on Thursday.
DS Smith reversed earlier losses to trade up, after it said that chief executive Miles Roberts would be retiring no later than the end of next November and unveiled a fall in interim profit.
BA and Iberia owner IAG flew lower after a downgrade to ‘underweight’ from ‘neutral’ at JPMorgan.
Vodafone fell after Exane BNP cut the shares to ‘underperform’.
Burberry was under the cosh after Deutsche Bank slashed its price target on the shares to 1,600p from 1,950p as it lowered its outer year earnings expectations. The bank maintained its ‘hold’ rating on the stock.
