Miners led the rebound charge of the FTSE 100 index in afternoon trade, as bargain hunters took advantage.

Antofagasta, Glencore, Anglo American and Rio Tinto were all among the top 10 risers at 1445 BST.

Shares in property group Berkeley fell as the company said reservations in the five months to May fell 20% due to uncertainty over Brexit.

Full year pre-tax profits fell to £530m from £539.7m due to reduced ground rent sales, Berkeley added, while forward sales increased to £3.25bn from £2.95bn.
