FTSE 250 movers: TBC Bank falls, Hochschild shines
London's FTSE 250 was roughly flat, edging 0.02% lower to 21,660.78 in afternoon trade on Friday as TBC Bank led the fallers.
Outsourcing and professional services provider Capita fell for the second consecutive session, having led the fallers on Thursday following a downgrade to 'sell' at Deutsche Bank.
Up at the other end of the index, Hochschild was the top riser, while IWG was also in the green after expanding its US footprint by launching its suite of online games with the Georgia Lottery Corporation.
Firstgroup followed suit at the end of a week where it emerged that the transport operator is mulling the potential sale of two of its North American businesses.
Oilfield services provider Hunting continued to rise, having climbed on Thursday after non-executive chairman John Glick purchased 18,373 ordinary shares in the energy services provider.
Finally, Synthomer climbed after analysts at Deutsche Bank hiked their target price for the stock from 340p to 410p, citing concerns over a delay in its acquisition of Omnova Solutions.
"Whereas management always expected completion in late 2019/ early 2020, we note closure in late 2019 has remained the ambition since approval was granted by US authorities in August," said the analysts at that German broker.
