Elegant Hotels appoints Richard Jones as CFO

Elegant Hotels, the AIM-listed owner and operator of hotels in Barbados, has appointed Richard Jones as Chief Financial Officer and executive director of the group with immediate effect.

Jones was previously CFO of main market listed pan-European cinema operator Cineworld. Since leaving Cineworld, he has been acting as a corporate adviser on a range of strategic, transactional and operational projects.

Jones spent his early career in professional practice, having qualified as a chartered accountant with Touche Ross, which is now part of Deloitte.
