Essensys names Jeremy Bernard as North American CEO

Software and technology provider Essensys named Jeremy Bernard as chief executive officer of its North American operations on Wednesday.
Essensys said Bernard would spearhead the scale-up of its North American business, bringing "extensive and unique experience" in delivering flexible office solutions, managing real estate portfolios and scaling property technology businesses.
The AIM-listed group hired Bernard, who will report directly to founder and group chief executive Mark Furness, from Knotel, where he served as the global head of real estate.
Chief executive Mark Furness said: "I am delighted to welcome Jeremy to Essensys. His appointment to lead our North American business is another key milestone and further demonstrates our ambition and commitment to the industry.
"Jeremy's deep experience of real estate, technology and the flexible workspace sector will prove invaluable as we look to build on our existing success in the North American market."
As of 0920 GMT, Essensys shares were up 0.20% at 130.26p.
