Tetragon reports profitable assets across its portfolio

Tetragon Financial group, a Guernsey based closed-ended investment company, reported profits across all its asset classes in the third quarter ended 30 September 2016.

The company, which trades on the London Stock Exchange and Euronext Amsterdam NV, has a broad range of assets in its investment portfolio, including a diversified alternative asset management business, TFG Asset Management, and covers bank loans, real estate, equities, credit, convertible bonds and infrastructure.

The group's assets under management totalled about $18.6bn at 30 September 2016.

Annualised fair value return on equity (RoE) year to date was 6.4% and fair value earnings per share (EPS) was $1.02 during the period.

Fair value net asset value (NAV) per share total return of 7.8% year to date and fully diluted fair value NAV per share of $20.05.

Dividend per share was 16.75 cents at dividend yield of 6.3%. The group intends to conduct a tender offer for a number of its non-voting shares with a maximum value of up to $50m.

The company also became a member of the Association of Investment Companies during the period.

The share price rose 1.79% to 11.40p at 1005 GMT.
