AIM-listed Belvoir Lettings said it could not predict the impact from not charging fees to tenants, as outlined in the Autumn Statement. On Wednesday, Chancellor Philip Hammond said there would be a ban on letting fees “as soon as possible”, in a bid to help the ‘just about managing’, which would save 4.3m households hundreds of pounds a year.

AIM-listed engineer Hayward Tyler Group has won four contracts worth in excess of £4.5m. Hayward Tyler, one of its operating companies, won two orders from Eureka Pumps for operators in the North Sea.

Upstream gas company Sound Energy confirms fully-underwritten offers to raise £24.1m, gross, by the issue and allotment of 29.8m new shares at 81p each. It said net proceeds of the offers would be applied to development activity on Sound Energy's Tendrara licence, onshore Morocco.

Customer-engagement software provider Netcall's chief executive, Michael Jackson, has flagged a healthy sales pipeline and a high level of revenue visibility in an upbeat AGM statement. "The group has experienced continued strong trading in the first few months of the financial year, with order inflow well ahead of the same period last year," said Jackson in a statement.

Technology company Starcom has raised £150,000, before expenses, after a conditional placing of 5m new shares at 3p each. It said proceeds would provide additional working capital.

Venture capital firm Draper Esprit has bought a stake in trust manager Elderstreet Holdings for an undisclosed fee, in order to gain access to high growth technology companies through a range of finance vehicles. The AIM-listed company bought a 30.77% stake in the holding company of Elderstreet Investments, which has assets in excess of £25m through Elderstreet VCT, and has the option to buy the rest.
