Africa’s low-cost airline Fastjet tanked in early markets after its chairman resigned due to the company requiring further capital.
Chairman and Director of the company Colin Child stepped down as he felt it would be inappropriate to stay on after the company decided to initiate a further fundraising exercise so soon after he led one in July.

AIM-listed CloudTag has signed an agreement with US distributor CITIES Market Studios to act as its sole and exclusive sales representative.The deal is for an initial period of a year from the date of the agreement and is automatically renewed at the end of the term unless terminated by either party before the renewal date.

Consort Medical, a global provider of manufacturing solutions for drugs, announced that it has appointed Paul Hayes as group Finance Director of the Vitec Group. Hayes is taking over the position of chief financial officer from Richard Cotton as well joining the board as executive director on 1 May 2017.

AIM-listed exploration and development company Stratex announced the retirement of its chairman Christopher Hall with effect from 31 December. Hall, who joined the company back in 2008 and was appointed chairman in 2011, had been planning to retire in 2017. However, following the appointment of Marcus Engelbrecht as chief executive in September, on the retirement of founding CEO Bob Foster, he has decided that the time is now right to step down from the board.
