Goodyear Tire & Rubber is the world's largest tyre company, manufacturing tyres, rubber products and chemicals in more than 90 facilities in 28 countries worldwide. Founded in 1898, the Ohio-based company now employs around 88,000 people globally and generated sales of well over $13bn in 2002.
