Tuesday preview: US house price data, Fedspeak in focus
The market spotlight on Tuesday will be on flurry of closely followed US housing indicators for the month of April.
At 1300 BST the Federal Housing Finance Agency and Standard&Poor's will publish the results of each of their house price surveys.
Investors will be keeping an eye out for any policy-relevant remarks from two top Federal Reserve officials, including governor Michelle Bowman at 1100 BST and governor Lisa Cook at 1600 BST.
Also due out, at 1400 BST, is the Conference Board's consumer confidence index for June.
Across the Channel, the main data release will be a reading on Spanish gross domestic product covering the first quarter, at 0700 BST.
No major economic reports are scheduled in the UK.
