Wall Street futures were in the green ahead of the bell on Friday as traders get set to return from the Thanksgiving Day break.

As of 1225 GMT, Dow Jones futures were up 0.37%, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 futures had the indices opening 0.28% and 0.29% firmer, respectively.

The Dow closed 138.25 points lower on Wednesday ahead of the Thanksgiving break.

Tech stocks were in focus prior to the open on Friday, with traders extracting profits from the likes of AI-darling Nvidia, which has soared more than 170% so far this year, while Facebook parent company Meta Platforms was also lower in pre-market trading.

Dell and HP shares were both down double-digits before the bell on the back of weak forward earnings guidance.

On the macro front, S&P Global's November manufacturing PMI will be published at 1445 GMT, while October construction spending and the Institute for Supply Management's November manufacturing index will follow at 1500 GMT.

Markets will close early on Friday to allow market participants to take advantage of Black Friday.
