Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Eneraqua Technologies plc, a provider of specialist energy and water efficiency solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Samuel as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO"), who joins the Company on 4^th November 2024 and will join the Board on the same date.  

John brings a wealth of AIM quoted company experience to the Group, most recently as Group Finance Director of Hargreaves Services plc, prior to which he held Executive Board positions at Renew Holdings plc, Zetex plc and Filtronic plc.

Having qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, John was subsequently appointed Managing Partner (Leeds) at Baker Tilly before expanding his experience across AIM companies working in the technology, construction and engineering services sectors.

John will take the reins from James Lamb, who has been serving as Interim CFO since March 2024.  James will move to the role of Finance Director for Cenergist Ltd and Group Financial Controller.

In accordance with Schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies, John William Young Strachan Samuel (aged 68 years) holds/has held the following directorships/partnerships in the last five years:

John holds no options over ordinary shares in the Company.

There are no further disclosures to be made under Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
