Further to the announcement made by the Company on Wednesday, 16 October 2024 regarding the commencement of a programme to purchase ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares" and the "Share Buyback Programme"), Hammerson confirms that 755,030 Ordinary Shares were delivered to the Company and immediately cancelled on Wednesday, 13 November 2024. These shares represent the aggregate number of purchases made pursuant to the Share Buyback Programme from Monday, 4 November 2024 to Friday, 8 November 2024 (inclusive).
In accordance with the requirements of the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rule 5.6.1A, the Company hereby notifies the market that the Company's issued share capital as at Wednesday, 13 November 2024, consists of 496,871,603 Ordinary Shares, of which 1,300,825 shares are held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company as at Wednesday, 13 November 2024, is 495,570,778. This figure should be used by Shareholders as the denominator for calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Ordinary Shares under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules and/or the Irish Transparency (Directive 2004/109/EC) Regulations 2007, as amended.
