AGM Statement
Aurrigo International plc (AIM: AURR, the "Company" or "Aurrigo"), a leading international provider of smart airside solutions and automotive products, will be holding its Annual General Meeting today at its offices at Unit 33, Bilton Industrial Estate, Humber Avenue, Coventry, CV3 1JL at 10:00am. At the meeting, Andrew Cornish Non-Executive Chair, will make the following statement:
"The Board is pleased to report continued positive trading momentum in the first half of FY24, in line with management expectations.
Following significant aviation partnerships secured in the prior year, the Group continues to make good progress with the phased deployments of its automated smart aviation solutions in key airport hubs around the world. This includes the delivery in H1 of an Auto-DollyTug® under the IAG contract to a major UK airport for first trial operations and the commencement of Auto-Sim® airport modelling as part of the initial phase of the airport launch.
This follows the successful testing of the Company's Auto-DollyTug® at Singapore Changi Airport Group (CAG) and subsequent contract win for further testing of a 'fleet' of automated baggage handling vehicles at the airport as announced in May. Testing continues to go well, and we look forward to being able to provide further updates on this in due course. The Company expects to complete further deliveries of Auto-DollyTug®s to customers under existing contracts in the near term.
The Group's cash generative Automotive division continues to perform in line with expectations, including the winning of new customers and additional projects from existing customers.
The pipeline of opportunities and discussions continues to grow as the need for automated, low emission airside solutions is pressing and momentum is building both with existing partners and prospective customers as the capabilities and demonstrable cost, efficiency and environmental benefits our solutions bring becomes increasingly evident."
