1Spatial said the project will deliver an in-depth digital system map of the UK's energy system in order to support a more efficient pathway to net zero and would utilise the firm's 1Integrate and 1Datagateway tools audit and validate the network data from all of Britain's electricity and gas network operators.
The AIM-listed group highlighted that ENA's National Energy System Map would improve the transparency of the electricity and gas networks in order to help companies to make "intelligent investment decisions", support new markets and help bring new renewable connections to the energy networks.
Chief executive Claire Milverton said: "The contract exemplifies the breadth and depth of 1Spatial's capabilities as a leader in data management and migrations.
"1Spatial is committed to providing dynamic market offerings that utilise our world leading data management capabilities, partnering with market leaders like Ordnance Survey is crucial to this."
