The AIM-traded firm said that in addition to the PRA deal, it has also been awarded a three-year framework contract as a key development partner to support Ordnance Survey (OS) on its programme to deliver the next generation of ‘Geo-Production’ system.
Looking at the PRA contract in Ireland, 1Spatial said the authority’s transformation of the country’s land records had been driven by a partnership with 1Spatial to develop and deliver a digital mapping system.
That was an efficient title plan maintenance environment underpinned by 1Spatial's technology, the board explained, to ensure data was valid, clean and fit for purpose.
By ensuring the whole organisation had access to changes in real time, PRA could apparently process case work more efficiently, which had “transformed” the productivity of critical areas within the authority.
1Spatial had previously worked with the PRA to build their mapping system, and the continuation of that relationship would enable the solution to adapt as the PRA evolved.
Through the new four-year contract, 1Spatial said it would be be supporting the PRA by providing services of up to €0.25m, and recurring software revenues over a four-year period of €0.75m.
On the three-year framework contract with Ordnance Survey, 1Spatial said it had worked with the mapping agency for a number of years, supporting its need to efficiently deliver accurate, up-to-date geographic data to customers using a continually product-ready database - the ‘Geo-Production’ system.
The new three-year framework agreement continued 1Spatial's long-standing relationship with OS as a key development partner, to support the agency’s ambitious programme to deliver the next generation of Geo-Production system.
The company said it was discussions with OS regarding potential workflow with the first purchase order under the framework agreement expected shortly.
Through the delivery of “best-in-class” technology solutions, 1Spatial said it would provide OS with increased flexibility in how data was captured and products were created.
That would be achieved by providing a new data capture and management environment through the use of 1Spatial technology, alongside Microsoft Azure, ESRI, and Oracle technology.
“I am delighted to deepen our relationship with two important customers; a testament to our approach of placing our teams at the heart of our clients infrastructure to support their ambitions as well as optimise the value they receive from their existing technology platforms and our own high quality software and solutions,” said 1Spatial chief executive officer Claire Milverton.
“These wins add recurring revenues to the 1Spatial business, demonstrating continued progress of our land and expand strategy and build upon a growing pipeline for the group - particularly highlighting the company's growing focus on and success in the government sector.”
