Amerisur Resources continues work at Putumayo asset following recent flooding
South America-focussed oil and gas producer Amerisur Resources warned that while work at its Putumayo basin project had continued despite recent flooding, the adverse weather conditions had necessitated the installation of further drainage and civil works to nearby roads.

Amerisur said "difficult" weather had delayed spudding of the Pintadillo-1 well, which is now expected to take place in July.
"The weather conditions in the Putumayo were of course expected, and taken into account in our planning. The small revisions to the road and location design will enhance its efficiency in use," said chief executive John Wardle.
Amerisur revealed that May production from its two producing fields, Platanillo and Mariposa-1 in Colombia, came in at 149,030 barrels of oil, with an average daily production of 4,807 barrels of oil per day and a peak of 5,344.
Total export volume in May was 128,169 barrels of oil, with a daily export average of 4,134.
As of 1120 BST, Amerisur shares had tumbled 13.33% to 15.60p.
