The AIM-traded firm said it had established Arden Wealth to deliver bespoke discretionary portfolio management services to private individuals who wished to receive a personal, tailored service.
It said its range of services included financial planning, and so would provide access to ISAs and IHT portfolios, as well as advice on pensions including SIPPs and protection.
Henry Algeo, a former director of Brewin Dolphin, was appointed as head of the wealth management division to develop Arden Wealth.
“This will present a great opportunity for wealth managers who wish to work in a smaller company environment to develop their careers and look after their clients in a truly bespoke manner,” said Arden Partners executive director James Reed-Daunter.
Donald Brown, chief executive officer of Arden, said he was “delighted” that the company had secured authorisation from the FCA to launch Arden Wealth.
“We see wealth management as an exciting growth opportunity for Arden and look forward to actively developing this new division,” Brown added.
