BNN Technology begins process to list on Nasdaq
Chinese content and services company BNN Technology announced on Friday it has begun the process to list on the US Nasdaq stock exchange.
The company, which has been listed on AIM since 2014, said it had submitted an application to list its US depository shares on Nasdaq, and maintained that the process will not affect its shares on London Stock Exchange’s junior market
Chief executive Darren Mercer said: "We are delighted to have begun the Nasdaq listing application process that initiates the formal process towards our potential future Nasdaq listing.
“Whilst we are in the hands of the Nasdaq listing team in terms of next steps, we are aiming to expedite the process as quickly as possible."
BNN Technology, formerly DJI Holdings, provides technology to make payments online and on mobile apps through agreements with corporate and government partners.
Through its partnership with Xinhuatong Network, the company makes mobile payments and other services on the Xinhua News mobile app in 12 provinces in China.
Shares in BNN Technology were up 2.56% to 147.68p at 1105 BST.
