DP Poland dine-in sales improve in June

Pizza restaurant operator DP Poland has seen dine-in sales surge since the Polish government lifted certain Covid-19 restrictions in June.

DP Poland said on Tuesday that average daily dine-in sales between 18 May and 30 June increased by 94% to PLN 122,900 (£23.0k) in comparison to the PLN 63,300 (£11.79k) brought in during the lockdown period of 1 May to 17 May.
Overall dine-in business increased by 25% in comparison to June 2020 but was still 24% lower when compared to June 2019.
Like-for-like system sales were 5% higher year-on-year in June and 2% lower compared to June 2019.
The AIM-listed firm also highlighted that its IT conversion was now complete, with the average order receipt in the enlarged group increasing by 10% in June.
As of 1015 BST, DP Poland shares were down 1.59% at 8.36p.
