The technology was ordered by the post graduate institute of medical education & research, in Chandigarh, India, and is currently used in over 50 of the world's leading research institutions across Europe, North America, Asia and Australasia, according to Feedback.
India is the first market where the AIM traded firm’s technology is being offered through GE Healthcare.
Balaji Ganeshan, global business development director of Feedback Medical, said: "This first purchase order of TexRAD via GE Healthcare represents an important milestone in our business relationship and will help to grow our international reputation. That one of India's leading medical institutions has selected TexRAD against other image analysis candidates is a strong endorsement of our technology."
GE Healthcare on 25 April signed a distribution agreement granting it the company non-exclusive global rights to offer TexRAD for medical imaging research applications.
Feedback is also working with GE Healthcare’s affiliates in order to identify further territories where TexRAD can be effectively deployed.
