The agreement concerns Feedback’s patented quantitative image texture analysis technology for diagnostic radiological scans, known as TexRAD, and grants GE Healthcare non-exclusive global rights to offer the product for medical imaging research applications.
Chief executive David Crabb said: "We are delighted to be working with GE Healthcare as a major provider of medical imaging equipment and services in India, demonstrated by their commitment and investment in this market. This global distribution agreement will further our international expansion."
The Indian market will be the first one targeted following the agreement as Feedback has developed a good relationship with businesses in the country due to a healthcare trade mission and the efforts of Balaji Ganeshan, director of new business at the company.
Ian McLellan, commercial director at CCI, added: "The development of this agreement allows both parties to better respond to local customer needs and enhance awareness of TexRAD to enhance medical imaging research. We are pleased to be further supporting the rapidly developing imaging expertise and healthcare provision within India."
TexRAD, which assists clinicians with the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of cancer and other disease indications, is currently installed in over 40 research institutions across Europe, North America, Asia and Australasia
