The AIM-listed supplier of X-ray screening systems said that at just over £750,000, the new contract is of a similar size to the order announced in June and comes from the same Asian territory.
Delivery is also due in December 2016, with the first stage payment already received.
The company said it now has an order book of more than 100 portable X-ray systems of various configurations.
Chief executive officer Bill Mawer said: “I am delighted with the further commitment to our ThreatScan-LS1 portable X-ray system from this important Asian territory.
We have the detailed planning in place, both internally and in our supply chain, to deliver these large orders and the whole company is focused on making them a success."
ThreatScan-LS1, which is part of the expanding range of portable X-ray systems developed by Image Scan following its August 2014 fundraising, allows police and military counter-terror teams to investigate suspect packages quickly and safely.
