The AIM-listed company said a swathe of new contracts in the first quarter totalled £1.1m.
Mountfield said it was also at "an advanced stage of negotiation on a number of other contracts of significant value".
The largest of the new jobs is worth roughly £0.4m, with the group already working on the £5m City of London corporate headquarters flooring contract announced for its Connaught Access Flooring arm in February.
"We are delighted at the positive start for Connaught in 2016," said chief executive Andy Collins.
"We are already fully engaged with current projects including the City HQ contract in particular and the latest project wins should see that this year will be an extremely busy one for the company."
The company is due to report calendar 2015 results in June, having in the first half generated revenue of £7.3m and broken back into the black after the previous year's loss.
Mountfield shares were up 19% to 1.1p on Tuesday morning.
