Plus500 agrees settlement with Belgian regulator
Online trading platform provider Plus500 has reached a €550,000 settlement agreement with the Belgium Financial Services and Markets Authority.

The settlement was reached in the context of the public offering of investment instruments, including contracts-for-difference as offered by the company, in Belgium.
Plus500 said the settlement does not amount to an admission of guilt or non-compliance.
"Despite believing that it had introduced all necessary procedures to comply with the applicable legislation, Plus500 felt a settlement agreement was appropriate to respect the authority of FSMA and to reach a swift and final clearance of the jurisdictional process."
The company reaffirmed on Tuesday that it does not have any regulatory restrictions in any of the group's regulated markets.
At 0920 BST, the shares were up 0.2% to 447.75p.
