Sanderson said on Thursday that Sainsbury's Habitat homewares and Tu clothing brands will develop "a wide range" of licensed products in collaboration with its Morris & Co and Scion brands.
The AIM-listed group, which highlighted that the agreement marked the first time it has collaborated with Sainsbury's, did not provide the financial terms of the deal.
Chief executive Lisa Montague said: "The first products from this multi-year agreement will be launched in the spring of next year and we look forward to working closely with Habitat and Tu on the product development.
"Today's announcement marks the second major licensing agreement that we have signed this year, demonstrating the strength of our brands and collaborative capabilities along with the attractive financial contribution that licensing delivers for the group."
As of 0905 BST, Sanderson shares were up 8.55% at 130.80p.
