The AIM-listed provider of software and services updated the market on its 2015 performance on Friday. It pointed to its interim report in August 2015, in which the board highlighted a positive shift in the company's momentum.
"We are pleased to report that this translated into strong performance for the second half of the year", the board said in a statement.
"As a consequence, we expect to report that revenues for the year ended 31 December 2015 will be comfortably in line with current market expectations, and that EBITDA and pre-tax profits will exceed current market expectations", it added.
Sopheon said it intended to issue its results for the year on 17 March, pending the completion of year-end financial close and audit processes.
The board also confirmed that non-executive director Dr Bernard Al passed away over the holiday period.
Dr Al had served on the board of Sopheon since 2001.
"He will be greatly missed, and the board offers its sincerest condolences to his family", the statement concluded.
