Sound Energy adds CFO to board of directors
Moroccan-focused upstream gas company Sound Energy has promoted JJ Traynor, the firm's existing chief financial officer, to its board of directors with immediate effect.

Traynor, a 29 year veteran in the oil and gas industry, was executive vice president of investor relations at Royal Dutch Shell prior to joining Sound Energy in September 2017.
JJ began his career in 1989 as an exploration geologist at BP, spending eight years in Mongolia, Norway, Vietnam and the UK and has a geology degree from Imperial College, London and a PhD from Cambridge University.
Richard Liddell, Sound Energy's chairman, said, "I am delighted to welcome JJ to the Board of Sound Energy. JJ has been a key member of the Sound Energy executive team since joining the company in September 2017 and his experience and capabilities will further reinforce the Board."
As of 0840 BST, Sound Energy shares were untraded on 41p.
