Trading Emissions confirmed the completion of the sale of its remaining Italian solar operating subsidiary, Solar Energy Italia 1, on Thursday.

The AIM-traded firm had announced details of the sale in mid-February and on 23 March.

Its board said the aggregate net proceeds from the sale, after allowing for transaction and other costs, were estimated to be €8.6m - equivalent, at the current exchange rate, to 3.01p per share.

“The company expects to announce a further distribution to shareholders in due course,” the board said in its statement.
