Vast Resources begins flotation plant production at Baita Plai

Mining company Vast Resources announced on Thursday that the flotation plant at Baita Plai was now fully operational, and producing concentrate.

The AIM-traded firm also said it was on track to surpass its initial copper sales delivery target included in the project production and associated operational cash flow forecasts, announced on 7 September.

It said it expected to complete the initial production of copper concentrate by the end of October, and deliver between 350 and 400 tonnes of copper concentrate to Mercuria as soon as possible thereafter.

“The company looks forward to updating the market upon successful completion of this concentrate sale to Mercuria,” the board said in its short statement.

At 1056 BST, shares in Vast Resources were down 1.68% at 0.18p.
