The LiveData software programme is designed to unlock continued replication of data at petabyte scale and offer data accuracy and consistency across any combination of major cloud environments.
David Richards, chief executive and co-founder of Wandisco, said: "The LiveData platform for Multicloud has the potential to supercharge the growth and success of modern day, data-based businesses. Across all sectors, from healthcare and transport, to retail and finance - enhancing data processing can be transformative."
Richards added that the launch of LiveData opens a significant total addressable market for the company’s technology, and that the company has already established a pipeline of customers that have a need to seamlessly move data between different cloud providers.
According to Wandisco, the new product leverages the AIM traded company’s strategic partnerships with the major cloud services providers, including Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Oracle, and IBM
Peter Burris, chief research officer of Wikibon/theCUBE, said: "Data is an increasingly central feature of any business's strategy. Therefore, a platform capable of sustaining data availability across clouds is a must-have for any business. WANdisco's LiveData platform provides digital businesses with a real option for seamless and constant replication of strategic data assets."
Wandisco’s shares were up 4.18% at 498.00p at 1630 BST.
