Zinc Media names Mark Browning as next CEO
Zinc Media has tapped former ITN Productions executive Mark Browning to take on the role of chief executive in the first half of 2019.

Browning, a seasoned media executive, experienced in creating and launching new ventures in the UK and the USA, will work closely with current CEO David Galan to ensure an orderly transition.
Chairman Peter Bertram, said: "We consider Mark to be one of the industry's leading operators who has a proven track record of achieving significant growth in revenues and profitability in the factual TV genre, and we believe will be a perfect strategic fit to cement and grow Zinc Media's ambitions in the UK and international TV markets."
Bertram also noted Browning's "significant digital experience" as it highlighted its belief that "the crossover between traditional TV and digital" would be a key driver of Zinc's future growth.
AS of 0920 GMT, Zinc shares had tumbled 13.24% to 0.32p.
