Ryanair declares emergency for Tenerife flight over France
A Ryanair flight between Brussels to Tenerife declared a general emergency, requiring an emergency diversion to Nantes.
Flight FR8178 descended at an extremely fast rate, according to online aircraft tracking data, as it issued a '7700' emergency transponder squawk code.
It was confirmed that the Ryanair flight landed at Nantes, but the reason for the emergency has not yet been released by the company.
