Friday preview: Global PMIs, UK public sector borrowing in focus

The market spotlight at the end of the week will be on a raft of purchasing managers' surveys for factory and services sector activity around the world.
At 0930 BST, consultancy S&P Global is expected to announce that activity in both sectors in the UK was little changed during the month of February.
On home shores meanwhile, earlier the Office for National Statistics will publish readings for public sector borrowing and retail sales covering the month of January.
Overnight, GfK will come out with the results of its consumer confidence survey for February.
PMI survey results will also be forthcoming in the euro area and the US.
Also set for release in the latter jurisdiction are monthly readings for existing home sales and consumer confidence.
