Friday preview: UK GDP, US consumer confidence ahead
Investors' attention at the end of the week will shift back towards the UK and the latest gross domestic product figures.
At 0700 GMT, the Office for National Statistics will release a reading on third quarter GDP growth.
Consensus is that aggregate demand remained flat over that three-month stretch following an expansion of 0.2% in the second quarter.
In the U.S. on the other hand markets will be focused on the preliminary reading for the University of Michigan's consumer confidence survey at 1500 GMT (consensus: 63.3).
At least two U.S. Federal Reserve officials are set to deliver remarks.
Those are Dallas Fed boss Lorie Logan att 1230 GMT and Atlanta Fed chief Raphael Bostic at 1400 GMT.
In the euro area, European Central Bank president, Christine Lagarde is due to speak at 1230 GMT.
