Friday preview: US jobs report and OPEC output decision in focus
Markets' focus at the end of the week will turn to the US jobs market and the pace of wage growth at the turn of the year, as investors try to assess the resilience of the American to the ongoing trade war with China.
Also due out on Friday is a preliminary reading for US consumer confidence at the start of December, arguably one of the most closely-watched surveys each month.
Against that backdrop, energy ministers from the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies are set to meet in Vienna to discuss possible oil output cuts.
In the UK meanwhile, the only indicator set for release is mortgage lender Halifax's house price index for November.
Across the Channel meanwhile, industrial production figures for Germany covering the month of October are due out at 0700 GMT.
