Tuesday preview: US producer prices, UK employment in focus
The market spotlight on Tuesday will be on US producer price data covering the month of October.
Investors will also be monitoring speeches from at least three top Federal Reserve officials, starting from 1400 GMT.
On home shores meanwhile, at 0700 GMT the Office for National Statistics will publish unemployment figures for September.
But first, overnight, China's National Bureau of Statistics will release a barrage of activity indicators covering fixed asset investment, industrial production and retail sales during the month of October.
In the background, the G-20 summit of heads of state will begin on Tuesday with meetings between Chinese and US officials likely to centre attention.
Across the Channel, at 1000 GMT the ZEW institute will release its economic confidence index for Germany for the month of November.
