Director dealings: Inspecs finance chief, wife buy 100k shares

The eyewear designer and supplier said CFO Christopher Kay bought 25,000 shares on Wednesday, in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.

At the same time his wife, Catherine Kay, purchased 75,000 shares.

Both transactions were at a price of 47.25p per share, valuing Christopher Kay’s transaction at £11,812.50, and Catherine’s at £35,437.50.

Following the purchases, Inspecs said Christopher Kay and people connected to him had a beneficial interest in 2,178,730 of its shares, representing 2.1% of its issued capital.

At 1229 GMT, shares in Inspecs Group were down 0.13% at 46.94p.
