Director dealings: Intertek CEO ups stake

Lacroix, who took over as CEO back in May 2015, purchased the shares on Monday at an average price of 5,367.00p each, for a total value of £536,699.98.

Earlier in March, Intertek posted a drop in full-year profit and revenue but said its earnings performance was ahead of the expectations following a strong recovery in the second half.

Adjusted operating profit for 2020 fell 18.4% to £427.7m, with revenue down 8.2% at £2.7bn. Adjusted pre-tax profit declined 19% to £392.8m.

As of 1620 GMT, Intertek shares were up 2.06% at 5,452.00p.
