Germany train crash kills at least five
At least five people were killed and many more injured when two trains collided in the German state of Bavaria on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at the spa town Bad Aibling, about 37 miles south east of Munich.
Local media reported that one of the trains was derailed in the head-on collision, with a number of coaches overturned.
Local police headquarters, Polizeipräsidiums Oberbayern Süd, tweeted initially at 0745 GMT that rescue operations were underway, with more than 100 emergency service vehicles in operation.

Five minutes later, police tweeted there were 100 injuries, as well as seriously wounded people and fatalities.
