Video shows aborted landing at London City Airport amid Storm Imogen
Footage emerged on Tuesday of a particularly hairy incident at London City Airport, as Storm Imogen moved through the capital.
The video shows an Alitalia jet - flying in from Milan - being swayed about by the strong winds at the airport situated on the Thames in East London.
Imogen had battered many parts of Britain and Ireland, bringing winds of up to 100mph and causing power disruption in south west England and the Republic of Ireland.
RSPCA inspector Mike Reid also went missing in the storm, after he tried to rescue a large number of birds from Portchapel Beach near Penzance.
