The acquisition of Keller - which has developed a funnel used during breast surgeries - will be carried out by Allergan's wholly-owned subsidiary, Allergan Sales.
David Moatazedi, senior vice president of Medical Aesthetics at Allergan, said: "Allergan is focused on providing technologies and products to help our surgeon customers improve procedures and Keller Funnel is that product for breast augmentation and reconstruction procedures.
"The Keller Funnel was developed and designed by pioneering surgeons to improve breast implantation, and reduce the risks of implant contamination during procedures. This is a natural complement to our world-class plastic surgery and regenerative medicine business, and marketing this innovative device further enhances our commitment to our customers and patients."
The Keller Funnel is a cone-shaped, lubricated plastic funnel that reduces surgeon and patient contact during breast augmentation or reconstruction procedures.
