Tesla co-founder and CEO Elon Musk has revealed plans to publish a new "top secret masterplan" for the tech company this week, after a rough few weeks in which they have received criticism for the dangers surrounding their auto-pilot system.
In a tweet sent on Sunday, he said that the car manufacturer is "working on Top Secret Tesla Masterplan, part 2".
In 2006 Musk revealed a similarly cryptic message on a blog which eventually led to the publication of plans for the Tesla roadster, the Model S sedan and the Model 3 sedan.
Musk followed up by saying that he hopes "to publish later this week", drumming up optimism for the company after a difficult few weeks.

Tesla came under fire after being subject to a federal investigation after two crashes - one of which resulted in a death - were suspected to have been caused by malfunctioning of their auto-pilot system.
Musk also came in for personal criticism after Tesla's attempt to buy SolarCity, which is run by the CEO's cousin Lyndon Rive.
Tesla shares are down almost 10% year-to-date, and down more than 16% in the past 12 months.
