Eurozone unemployment hits three-year low in October
Unemployment in the Eurozone fell to a three-year low in October, figures released on Tuesday showed.
According to official data, the unemployment rate dropped to 10.7% from 10.8% in September, compared with analysts’ expectations for an unchanged reading.
The lowest rate of unemployment was in Germany, where it reached 4.5%, closely followed by the Czech Republic at 4.7%, while the highest rate was seen in Greece, at 24.6%.
