Fed's Bowman says rates will need to remain restrictive 'for some time'
A top US central bank official on Thursday said on Thursday that interest rates would need to remain "restrictive" for some time.
According to Marketwatch.com, Federal Governor, Michelle Bowman, also backed the convenience of slowing the pace of rate hikes.
She reportedly added that she now expected that rates would rise to a "slightly higher" level than before.
